Cabana Outdoor Living Centre, formally Garden Statues & Ornaments, has been manufacturing and distributing a wide range of concrete products to the New Zealand market since 1980. Based in Tauranga and still operated by the same founding partnership, the company has diversified from the early days of ornamental products to the more sophisticated outdoor living lifestyle. It now produces outdoor kitchens, outdoor dining suites, fire places, pizza ovens, pots, urns, birdbaths, fountains, indoor fire hearths and surrounds, statues and columns.

Our mould makers will make to your designs. Cabana’s mould makers and factory can design and produce your unique designs, exclusively for your own shops, from light-weight concrete, sandstone or crushed marble.

Cabana has worked with regional councils, developers, architects, landscape designers and project managers on a variety of projects including:

• The streetscape (makeover) of Waihi, where we designed and manufactured crucible rubbish bins and the town’s crucible fountain.
• Auckland museum columns.
• Pots and planters for Coastlands and Christchurch malls.
• Large trough planters for Porirua City and Havelock North. 
• Specially designed planters and pedestals for Whangarei Town Hall. 
• Street signs, columns and fence covings for Royal and Palm Spring subdivisions at Papomoa. 
• Seats for parks. 

Our outdoor or indoor tables are made from fibre cement, making them extremely light. They come in the colour of your choice and can be ground and polished, to create that special look. Concrete table legs are interchangeable, allowing for a variety of combinations.

Wrought iron chairs and table bases are manufactured in New Zealand; the chairs are made of a heavier gauge steel, galvanised and powder-coated to the colour of your choice, and should last a life time.

Outdoor fires can be your design or ours. They can be supplied in kitset form for the DIY or can be fully assembled on site. (Installation P.O.A.)

Kitchens and bathrooms; The team at Cabana will make up the concrete modules for your outdoor kitchen from your design, and can manufacture, grind and polish kitchen bench tops and vanities.
